Winter Wonderland Baby Shower

Helllloooo everyone! I've been very MIA lately as you can see. The Holidays were so busy and fun and I'm just now getting to blog about this oh so pretty baby shower I styled at the beginning of December.
I was contacted to style and baby shower and we worked together and decided on a Baby Wonderland shower. Living the Boston area it was the perfect theme for this time of year. I loved how it turned out.
Not knowing the sex of the baby, I went with silver, white, blue & pink. The colors really complimented each other well. I loved the soft look of them together.
For the table I used cupcakes, cotton candy, chocolate dipped marshmallows, strawberry whoppers, peppermint marshmallows, Hershey kisses,  and chocolate covered oreos. I also had pink lemonade filled in glass jars and strung a pacifier around it.
Also used at the party was a guess the gender tree. I created cards for each guest to guess the gender of the baby to be. They were each hung on a white Christmas tree.  Super cute!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Dylans birthday is at the beginning of October and usually he is talking about his party months and months in advance giving me plenty of time to plan. So this year summer ended, school started, football started and we were so busy! It was two weeks ago he decided he wanted another football party at the house. Two weeks to plan. Yikes! No invitation, nothing planned. Although sometimes that's my favorite time to plan- last minute & under pressure to give him a great party. The weekend begin and mother nature descended a Monsoon on our town. I had the hopes of spray painting a football field as I did last year, but the weather wasn't cooperating. It did however stop for the party. Phew! So the obstacle course bounce house kept the kids entertained along with their pick up football game.
Starting with the invitation I knew I wanted to design it as a game ticket. I incorporated his team football logo and I loved how it turned out. It fix perfectly in a letter size envelope. I wanted to add a little something extra and remembered I had astro turf from last years party. I cut pieces to go behind the ticket and Stuff in the envelope. On the front of the envelope I placed a large sticker with the saying "are you ready for some football" and the guests' name.
For the party,  I created a fun and yummy treat table for the boys. They actually were afraid to touch it. I had to tell them to dig in! I filled the table with root beers, popcorn, pretzels,  football shaped oreos, football chocolates, chocolate helmets, Hershey kisses, cupcakes and football brownies.
I also wanted to add a Nacho Station to the party. I thought it would be a fun "tailgate" aspect before the pizza and wings arrived. The Nacho Station consisted of Nachos, Cheese, Salsa & Chili. The boys loved it!
I also used Green Powerade to to make "Greenwave" punch. Greenwave is the mascot in our town.
The party was a BIG success and we all had so much fun. I hope you enjoy all the pictures. You can purchase the printable set in my shop here.

Rustic Maine Wedding

Oh, hello blog readers! Remember me? I feel like its been ages since I've written! With summer, back to school and now fall in full swing I've been so busy! I FINALLY have a minute of piece and quiet to write to you about a super special wedding.
My dearest and one of my oldest friends was married this past August. Do you remember her shower this summer? Click here to see it. Well her wedding came and it was so AMAZING. Gorgeous is an understatement to describe how she looked. I mean.. really.. I know every girl looks perfect on their wedding day, but she took it to another level. Stunning. Perfect. Flawless. You name it.. she was it on her wedding day. And NO ONE deserves it more than she does. With too many ups and downs in her life over the past few years this day was more than just a wedding. It was finally a celebration of what she has overcome, what she has found with her husband and the life she has ahead of her.  She truly means the world to me. I gave the speech at her wedding and couldn't say enough how proud and honored I am to be her best friend. I wish you all knew her so you could see exactly what I'm talking about. But, please- TRUST me.. she's amazing! Lets let the pictures do the talking... I did the decorating and coordinating of many parts.. I hope you enjoy!

See what I mean? Beautiful!

My Mr & Mrs Banner I created

Love is sweet isn't is? Here's the dessert backdrop I created. I wrapped my foam backdrop in burlap and used the banner I created.

I made these cake toppers. Aren't they so cute?!

I hung all these lanterns to focus on the dance floor. I clustered a few right under the center of the dance floor and flowed the rest out in four separate sections.

I also made these charms for her to pin on her bouquet. This is her mom and grandmother whom she has lost in the past few years. For sure, they were there on her wedding day. The day was suppose to be rainy and no lie blue skies and amazing weather hit as soon as we took pictures and throughout the wedding ceremony. That stuff doesn't just happen.

Wedding programs I created and designed for the wedding!

Love this photo. Me and my two best friends since childhood. Treasure it.

Oh.... no big deal.. just rocking our Ray Ban sunglasses from our bridal party gifts. And that was just part of our gifs... so sweet and nice.

And this photo... is it not something straight out of Honey, I shrunk the Kids? Their photographer was amazing. This girl is young and just found her niche. And BOY, did she find it. Her photos are beautiful.

Hello beautiful couple !

What an amazing day! It was everything I wished for her and more. XOXO Congratulations Jennifer- I love you.
